Use Epi-Otic for routine cleansing, 2-3 times a week as needed. It gently cleanses to remove dirt, wax, and allergens.
Routine ear cleansing can be performed after shampooing or swimming to help minimise excessive moisture within the ear canal as this may contribute to infection and inflammation. The alcohol free formula cleanses without irritation, while docusate sodium helps to dry the ear and lactic acid absorbs moisture and normalises keratin.
It can be used before application of medicated treatment, as cleaning your dogs ear before applying medication can help make the treatment more effective; by removing any excess wax, discharge, or debris.
Epi-Otic can also be used weekly as preventative maintenance to reduce the risk of recurrence and to reinforce the benefit of therapy.
