As luck would have it, there’s a NZ-made and NZ-grown feed for ducks! For feeding backyard or wild ducks, choose Lucky Duck.

Ducks deserve better than generic poultry pellets or stale bread crusts. That’s why, as duck-devotees, we created Lucky Duck. A nutritious blend of 100% New Zealand grown ingredients carefully developed to keep ducks in quacking good health.

Ducks are natural foragers, pecking around for a diverse diet of plants, seeds and insect protein. We worked with an avian expert to replicate the nutritional profile of their ideal diet in a handy free-flow blend.

Feed Lucky Duck as a maintenance diet for backyard ducks or scatter on the ground for wild ducks. A wholesome replacement for old crusts – bread is like junk food for ducks and breeds dangerous bacteria in waterways.

• Now featuring 100% NZ-grown grains
• New Zealand’s original duck-specific feed
• Free of ruminant protein; contains soy-based pellets
• For feeding backyard or wild ducks

Ingredients: Oats, barley, kibbled maize, high protein pellets (soya bean meal, peas, wheat by-products (broll) and vegetable oil), kibbled green peas.

Feeding Guide: For feeding on the ground (will not float). Intended as an all-year maintenance feed for ducks from 8 weeks old. Breeding ducks will need an additional protein source during breeding season. Feed approximately 150g per duck per day. For laying ducks, supplement with additional calcium such as oyster shell grit.

Typical Analysis: Protein 15.5%, fat 3.8%, fibre 6.4%, calcium 0.059%
