About The Rescue:

Ruakaka Dog Rescue is a registered trust/charity founded in June 2014.

We are a small but committed group of volunteers and all our funding is through donation and community support.

Our values
- educate and support dog owners and the local community on responsible dog ownership, duty of care and the five freedoms
- reduce the numbers of dogs bred through a lack of de-sexing
- encourage registration and vaccinations to reduce the transmission of disease and ill-health.
- find permanent homes for unwanted dogs handed in or relinquished to the Trust
- provide foster care, training and supervision for the dogs while finding permanent homes for them.

We have been involved in the vaccinating, desexing, rescue and re-homing of 100+ dogs! That’s an achievement we are very proud of. We feel very positive about the future.

We will then ship your selections to the rescue with a note saying who it's from.
